DESCRIPTION:The High Blood Pressure Management Workshop (also known as Health Coaches for Hypertension Control) is a proven\, small group program developed to help participants ages 40 and older take control of managing their high blood pressure at home. \n\n\n\nThis workshop meets weekly for 1.5 hours\, for 8 weeks. \n\n\n\nYour trained lifestyle coach and fellow participants will guide and support you to: \n\n\n\n\nLearn the basics of controlling your high blood pressure\n\n\n\nLearn how to monitor your blood pressure at home\n\n\n\nMake healthier eating choices\n\n\n\nGet more physical activity in your daily life\n\n\n\nHelp you quit smoking or tobacco\, if applicable\n\n\n\nReduce stress and stay motivated\n\n\n\nBetter manage blood pressure medications\n\n\n\nSolve problems and create plans for action and change\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop is free to participants. That’s because we’re committed to making sure all Vermonters have access to expert advice and proven strategies to take control of their health. \n\n\n\nTHIS WORKSHOP MAY BE RIGHT FOR YOU\n\n\n\nIf you: \n\n\n\n\nAre 40 years or older\n\n\n\nHave been diagnosed with high blood pressure (hypertension)\n\n\n\n\nThis free\, live\, virtual series is being offered on Tuesdays from June 30th through August 25th from 5:30-7:00pm.  \n\n\n\nClick here to register.
