DESCRIPTION:The High Blood Pressure Management Workshop (also known as Health Coaches for Hypertension Control) is a proven\, small group program developed to help participants ages 40 and older take control of managing their high blood pressure at home. \n\n\n\nThis workshop meets weekly for 1.5 hours\, for 8 weeks. \n\n\n\nYour trained lifestyle coach and fellow participants will guide and support you to: \n\n\n\n\nLearn the basics of controlling your high blood pressure\n\n\n\nLearn how to monitor your blood pressure at home\n\n\n\nMake healthier eating choices\n\n\n\nGet more physical activity in your daily life\n\n\n\nHelp you quit smoking or tobacco\, if applicable\n\n\n\nReduce stress and stay motivated\n\n\n\nBetter manage blood pressure medications\n\n\n\nSolve problems and create plans for action and change\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop is free to participants. Click here to learn more or to register.
