The Edge Annual Membership
The Green Mountain Higher Education Consortium (GMHEC) is pleased to announce an exciting benefit offered through The Edge.
As of 2025, eligible faculty and staff of all GMHEC member schools will be able to enjoy an annual membership to The Edge at an incredible discount (see your guidebook for this year’s rates). Membership is good at all Edge locations. Membership includes use of fitness/cardio centers, indoor track, basketball, racquetball and squash courts, pools, saunas, hot tubs, group fitness classes, virtual fitness classes, indoor cycling, locker rooms and member discounts on programming.
Upgrade to Ultimate Edge Membership: For an additional rate per month you can add tennis and pickleball and receive discounts to the Kids & Fitness Preschool. This upgraded benefit would be paid by the employee directly at The Edge.
Family Benefits: All children 13 and under are included free of charge with a GMHEC’s parent/employee membership. Children ages 14 – 21 who are full time dependent students pay only $25 per month (plus tax).
Spouse Rates: Individuals may add spouses for 50% off the regular membership rates for 12 months prepaid membership or 20% off monthly SimplePay. This benefit can be paid by the employee directly at The Edge.
Champlain College employees:
Enroll in Oracle. Then, contact the People Center (peoplecenter@champlain.edu) to let them know you have enrolled so they can complete the process and get your membership started.
St. Michael’s College employees:
Enroll in Oracle. Then, contact the Benefits Team (benefits@gmhec.org) to let them know you have enrolled so they can complete the process and get your membership started. You will receive an email from the Edge and need to complete a waiver as part of your new member process.
Middlebury, Norwich and Consortium employees:
